Dad is out of the hospital

Thank you for all the prayers. He was able to leave the hospital yesterday. There must have been many because he broke new records and left the hospital only 4 days after surgery. He is feeling pretty good and is getting stronger every day. Chris will be going down to help on Wednesdays, and I will be going down to visit and help on Saturdays. It's amazing how this has pulled us together as a family!

Prayers for Dad

Just a quick post......my dad had to have open heart surgery on Thursday. They found he had blockages during a stress test on Monday. He saw the cardiologist on Tuesday who scheduled him for a heart catherization on Wednesday and found that stints weren't enough. So he had a quadruple bypass on Thursday. It's been a whirlwind. Saturday gave us some scares. He seemed to be slurring his words and a bit confused, so they took him down for a CAT scan. Today they will meet with the neurologist. My brother and I are now working with Donna to set a schedule to help him recover when he is released. Little does he know how many prayers are already going out for him;)
